| The person largely responsible for the SZ design was Antonio Castellana. Da Silva (much as Zagato himself and others) proposed some initial concepts that were later on discarded, the letter Z was kept because the total output was bodied at Zagato´s plant. Andrea Zagato was far more involved in the final design of the RZ (that is the roadster version).
