As I recall there were only a few trim levels available in Britain, including 2.5 litre Sport and 4.0 Litre Limited. So in Britain didn't "Limited" only come with the 4 Litre engine? My dad was once thinking of buying a Cherokee and I remember reading the brochures.

And it looks different from the north american version. The ribbed mouldings on the lower doors are like those on the 1988-92 Cherokee Laredo and the newer Cherokee Country. The Limited model didnt't have those here. And I think that the "Limited" word was always written in script rather than block letters.

I'm fairly sure this is older than '96, this is a '92, and it's got the Limited script in block lettering.

The DVLA details for the number plate 1 Law show the vehicle to be an '01 Grand Cherokee, so I'm not too sure what to make of this.

1 LAW is a cherished (vanity) number. The owner bought a new car and tranferred the number to it.
