Indian introduced rear plunger suspension & very deep fenders in 1940. This bike has plunger but fender is normal shape, so it is guesses that it's ex.militaly Indian 640 series. *Name of Indian are changes by production year (640=1940, 641=1941...), so I can say only "640 series"
