Actually used in not one but two short (but important) scenes. First when Amanda (Arlette Merry) elopes with Jérôme Taillement (Henri Génès) ![]() 00:24:54 then (main pic and following thumbnails) when she briefly comes back to the farm, "11 years later": ![]() ![]() "Autobus Vendéens - Fontenay-le-Comte" ![]() Ten bolts for the front wheel. [1067ZE2] seems to be a ca.1937 registration in Vendée. http://immat1928.free.fr/departements/somme-yonne/85n.html The plate is authentic, beyond doubt. And, well, I find him a Delahaye face. |

I would have thought Rochet-Schneider. But I can't find anything exactly matching ![]() |

The hood louvres on the bus in the Rochet Schneider ad do not match the bus in the movie but this Delahaye, even though it is a smaller model has the same louvres - ![]() -- Last edit: 2015-08-09 21:52:26 |

I wouldn't give too much attention to the shape and the number of hood louvres. But your picture of a Delahaye bus shows rather similar curves on top of the grille ![]() |
