A possible of mogrel?

I think this is K-Series due to the front locking hub at the wheel

If one enlarges the first thumbnail..you see a SILVERADO nameplate...

K-10 (if a ½-ton model) should be used as model name, not as model code.
If any doubt about the "ton rating", the generic model name for it should be K-Series, or C/K-Series if also unsure of the 4WD (but this pickup has a really high clearance).

@ rjluna2 (or anyone who wants to answer ;) ): what is a mogrel?

@ eLMeR : " mongrel " m'a donné " batard " comme traduction. il doit avoir été remonté avec des pieces provenant d'un peu partout
Je crois que c'est ce qu'il a voulu écrire mais le "n" n'a pas fonctionné

in those years, Silverado was a trim level, no ?

I think the closest thing I can find for the french word: métis

Thanks to both of you for the explanation. The missing "n" was indeed misleading. For these vehicle, we could also say "the Frankenstein's creature" ;)
(@ rjluna2: métis is a moderate word, while bâtard, especially when used about people, may have negative connotations and be seen as an insult. Do mongrel has this 2 meaning?)

@ Baube: the Silverado trim level was indeed unveiled with the 1975 model year (as the top of trim levels), and became a model name only with the 1999 GMT800 model.
The pickup of this page being at least a 1973-87 model (1981-87 if the fender is the one of its origins...), Silverado should only appear as a complement. The way it already does :)

Edit: I changed the 1988 ending model year into 1987, which is the accurate one. These vehicles are too recent for me, I mix the years :D

I can point out that the side mirror is a 1980+ style, but since the door doesn't look original, it doesn't help much.

thanks for the precisions, didn't knew that trim was that old

Not only is the door not original, the fender with the Silverado badge isn't original.

That means there's a good possibility that this isn't even a Silverado trim truck.

Based on the info we have, it's a 1981-1987 K-Series.

Or do we agree it's a 1/2-ton K-10?
