It could be a 1948+ Mercedes-Benz L-Something: L3250 / L3500 / L4500, also known as LF in Wikimedia Commons. If so, most of them are gathered as [L49] trucks in the IMCDb, with or without a model name. I don't believe in M-B. (Headlights, running boards.) It coud well be French, Latil for instance. The most imparable would be to find the roster of Cassis, Martigues or Marseilles fire brigades in 1950. |

Yes,I think it must be the king of the French fire trucks at that time, the Laffly BSS 163 FIN (Fourgon d'Incendie Normalisé). http://www.milinfo.org/2015/11/laffly.html (fr.wiki says "1946" for the first year.) |
