1974 911 Carrera ? |

Has been tweaked so difficult to be sure what to trust. 1981+ wing indicators usually the most reliable bit - mirrors are wrong (1992+ 964 style) and ducktail an anachronism after 1974 only Carrera (but a lot prettier than the 75+ picnic table). No tints so not a high version. But the biggest problems seen in the thumb - early door handles, fixed quarterlights and crucially pre-1969 wiper position. So has to be late 60s with major reworking. Any side view would be useful for seeing length/wheelbase, but I'll go for 1968 911S as reasonably likely. |

Thanks - apart from wipers and door handles, other visible details match slightly enhanced 1984+ 911 Carrera. But I can't really get a feel for length - the gap between rear of door and wheelarch is the key area - so sticking with 1968 911S which has been severely rebuilt. |

Thank you very much. Then, if it helps: Zoom in |

2nd thumb in new batch - short wheelbase - similar proportion to white one in main above on this page. Means that a decent side view would look odd (swb with 74+ big bumpers, big wheels, and ducktail) so might be why they only show obliques or use a funny stretching lens in the distance shots. |
