sad that they wrecked it, looks in good condition.... someone told me that 1980 had amber turn signal, is this one would be 1981-1985 ? |

This scene was the reenactment of the murders of Brian "Balloon Head" Halloran and his friend, Michael Donahue who were both shot by Whitey Bulger and a unknown accomplice as they were pulling out of the car-park outside the Anthony's Pier 4 Restaurant in South Boston, Massachusetts on the evening of the 11th May 1982. The investigation into the Donahue and Halloran murders revealed that moments before the murder, Donahue met up with Halloran in the restaurant's bar and had offered to drive Halloran home. As Donahue and Halloran was driving out the car-park, Whitey's associate and Winter Hill Gang member, Kevin Weeks signaled to Whitey over a walkie-talkie radio (who was sitting in a car with a masked associate) that Halloran was pulling out of the car-park lot, Whitey (armed with a 30-caliber Carbine) and his masked accomplice (armed with a MAC-10 machine gun) then pulled his car along side of Donahue's car and opened fire, Donahue was killed instantly with a bullet wound to the head, while Halloran was shot multiple times. Before succumbing to his wounds, Halloran named Winter Hill Gang Member and later actor, James "Jimmy" Flynn as the shooter, Flynn was charged with both the Halloran and the Donahue murders in 1986 but was acquitted when it was revealed that Flynn was set up for the murders by both Whitey Bulger and Whitey's associate and FBI agent, John Connolly. -- Last edit: 2022-02-26 09:42:53 |

These rims only appeared on the '85 Citation II, then they were reused on the '87-'88 Chevrolet Corsica. I'll get more shots of this car to confirm if this is actually an '85 or just swapped (anachronistic) rims. -- Last edit: 2016-09-19 00:57:54 |

In real life, they were driving a mid-'70s Datsun F10 hatchback. At least they got the color right, though...it was pretty much this exact shade of light blue. |
