2007-04-08 23:24 | The gold wagon on the left is not a S123? ![]() |
2007-04-08 23:50 | Ah sorry, I didn't see that. I just saw 2 pictures of the Bristol on the movie page... movie_442678-The-Inspector-Lynley-Mysteries--In-Divine-Proportion.html -- Last edit: 2007-04-08 23:51:43 |
2007-04-08 23:51 | No, it's a W123! ![]() 'Sxxx' numbers came later. |
2007-04-08 23:52 | But all of them are listed as S123? ![]() vehicles_make-Mercedes-Benz_model-S123.html -- Last edit: 2007-04-08 23:52:29 |
2007-04-08 23:58 | I remember that there was a discussion (especially about the C & R codes) but I do not remember what was finally said. Anyway if some changes have to be made, such changes can be done on the server, no need to change vehicles one by one. |
2007-04-09 13:38 | I searched for the old discussions and found them here: Link to "forum.antp.be" and a year later about the W123 here: vehicle_59931-Mercedes-Benz-W123-1977.html The summary of the discussion is: everything before early 1990s has a 'Wxxx' chassis code. |
2007-04-09 14:11 | Except R107 that is common enough to be used, as said on the other page. So I rename all S123 to W123? |
2007-04-09 15:16 | Yes, please, go ahead! Actually they, too, are W107. http://www.mercedesclubs.de/vdh/fahrzeugtypen/w107/w107.html But I know that some websites are quite ignorant and use the modern letter codes. |
2007-04-09 18:53 | Well, as I said most of the time the W107 is listed as R107, unlike the others where the "mistake" is more rare, that's why for that one I would keep the "R" code. |
