I hate watching these get sacrificed, but it would have likely have been scrapped anyways at that time in its life. Someone opened their wallet for the wide 1960s look whitewall tires, but chose what looks like a stripper silver gray base model and dog dish hubcaps. That tire / wheel combo looks like something circa 1950. Maybe it was just done for this episode to make it look less like a detective car? |
