Did 57 Belair's come as a 2 door post? |

They didn't. That would make this a 150 or a 210. Since the side trim has been shaved off, it's pretty hard to tell which. |

There is indeed a 2 door post Bel Air. The car pictured is most likely a 210 due to the abbreviated top chrome on fins and stainless steel trim around windshield (the 150 had rubber). |

This is a 1957 150 2-door sedan, it was only the ‘55 150’s that did not have the stainless trim around the windshield and rear window. I say its a 150 because of the lack of trim underneath the side windows, all 210 ‘57s had that trim. Its also a right hand drive car which came from Canada as a CKD and assembled at destination as did those that came to South Africa and the UK. You will notice the 55 56 universal dash. |

The 57 chev is an australian 4 door sedan, 210 model, converted to 2 door, with side trim and the trim under the side windows removed. It has tilt one piece front, radiused rear wheel arches, blown big block Chev, Ford 9 inch diff, Recaro seats, Appliance steel spoke wheels and fenderwell headers. She is also fun to drive. |

Cool, I am actually also in the process of converting my 210 4 door into a 150 2 door. Not many 2 doors around this part of the world ;-) |
