2 door Cortinas very rare as Mk4 and even rarer as Mk5. Very few sold as normal cars, but there was a small supply for Motability disabled conversions and to Crayford for convertiblising. I've seen Crayford comments that they could order Mk4s from UK dealerships and these small occasional batches were UK-built, but Mk5 had to be ordered as special build RHD from Genk, with no UK build or supply. This looks Mk4 to me. |

Rare, huh? Well, they bash it up pretty good by slamming it into the Landy. Looked like a real (stunt) crash too. They really annihilated the front end of it. |

Rare - yes, valuable - no. Only available (Mk4) as 1.3 basic and L trims, although possibly a few 1.6 made as well. None of the higher trims or faster engines which were offered on European 2 door Taunus TC2 and TC3. |
