I hope the proportions of the main pic are the good ones. Otherwise, it would be this: ![]() A Sunbeam-Talbot DHC, I think. |

90 Drophead Coupé? No better view: the rest is a close-up on the windshield, or quarter-rear obstructed. -- Last edit: 2015-04-28 15:59:18 |

Seeing this /vehicle.php?id=810168 I think that those Sunbeam-Talbot are much narrower than I thought. Maybe the ratio of the thumbnail pic is the right one, dsl? (I found it was giving a too-narrow image of the car, so I modified it to make the main pic.) |

52+ S2a as open rear wheels. They were upright narrow cars, but I can't really see much difference between the 2 picture ratios. |

Anyway, I will re-establish the 'é' of 'Coupé' in its full rights. And for all Sunbeam-Talbots! |

It looks like an Alpine to me, no need for the acute pain. A comparison between the Alpine and the DHC shown below:- http://www.sunbeamtalbot.info/Old_S-T_WebPage/intro.htm -- Last edit: 2015-04-28 17:50:34 |

...and me, now you come to mention it. My bad. Early Mk1, Apr53 to Oct 53 before new front bumper with plate underneath. |

Not named Sunbeam-Talbot Alpine? … No: "The original was launched in 1953 as the first vehicle from Sunbeam-Talbot to bear the Sunbeam name alone since the 1935 takeover of Sunbeam and Talbot by the Rootes Group." (I did all the (-)Head Coupés now!) |
