There appear to be only five letters between the taillights ("D O D G E"), and from http://www.valiant.org/valiant/mexico.html - "Taking advantage of the lack of Plymouth in Mexico, Chrysler attached Plymouth noses and tail-lights to their cars in 1976 as their annual update." The emblem in the grille also looks like the Dodge triangle instead of the Plymouth rocket.
