Testarossa? The dialogue refers to the Testarossa and they are standing beside this car. -- Last edit: 2007-01-13 15:54:11 |

the yellow one is 348 the one in the front (spoiler visible) is F40 I believe. |

When this film was made the Testarossa had recently become the 512TR, both this and the 348 are pretty similar at the front end. |

you are right. It is 512TR or Testarossa 512TR - http://www.e-tire.co.jp/gallery/photo/ferrari/512tr-003.jpg Testarossa - http://www.fantasycars.com/derek/cars/images/ferrari/testarossa_1.jpg 348 - http://www.seriouswheels.com/pics-def/Ferrari-348-GTS-Red-Front-Angle-st.jpg check out the mirrors + coloured front spoiler. but I can not see the difference between Testarossa and 512TR.. -- Last edit: 2007-01-13 16:06:11 |

The 348 can also have a body coloured front bumper/spoiler, it's the wing mirrors that give it away. |

It's easy to tell an 80s Testarossa: http://www.dennigcars.org/models/ferrari_testarossa.htm I thought once they revamped the car and gave it a new facia, it was then called the 512, is this true? -- Last edit: 2007-01-13 16:21:02 |

This film was released right at the end of 1992 (just in time for the Oscars) so this was probably filmed earlier in the year. Shall we call all these showroom Ferraris (except perhaps the F40) 1992 models? This is meant to be a Manhattan Ferrari showroom, but it could easily just be a set, either way it's possible that Ferrari provided brand cars to the studio. -- Last edit: 2007-01-14 01:32:29 |

After modification in 1991 (probably for '92 M.Y.) the 'TR' indicated Testarossa. However, yes the "Testarossa" label was only on the older cars with old front end. |

If it was really made in a Ferrari showroom, why not. Else I do not think we should assume that the cars are brand new. -- Last edit: 2009-07-28 19:16:55 (G-MANN) |

It's still referred to as a Testarossa, though sometimes film dialogue can be a bit vague with cars, the Mondial is referred to as a "Cabriolet T" instead of Mondial T. |
