Could this be some Peugeot 301 Roadster?

No: "suicide" doors.

Could it be the same than /vehicle_796304-Ford-Model-A-Cabriolet-1933.html ?

I mean of the same model? (Or even the very same car? After all, this one is probably here to "protect" the Auburn while shooting outdoor, in a scene "for real" in the Parisian traffic.)

Is it what we call here 'V8'?
Does the French flag (I was probably the one who put it there, thinking it was a French built Ford) has any relevance?

Yes, I supouse it's equiped with the eight-cylinder engine, and not a Model C developed from the modell A mill. But only if there were a shot of the grill from front we would know for sure.
It's not the same car as the Model A with 1933 licence plates.
