But… how do you know this? Is there some reachable documentation about Type H, HY and others on the internet? |

I know this from IMCDb. 1964+ one-piece windshield, 1969+ squared rear fenders. |

Fine! And, er… why "Y"? |

The HY replaced the H in 1957/1958. |

Well, if you say so… But nothing of the sort on wikipedia: http://fr.wikipedia.org/wiki/Citro%C3%ABn_Type_H "En fonction de la charge et de sa carrosserie, l'appellation commerciale changeait, H (1 200 kg de charge utile), HZ (850 kg puis 1 000 kg), HY (1 500 kg puis 1 600 kg), HP (plateau), HX (plateau frigorifique) ou HW (plateau pour les carrossiers)." |

On English Wikipedia, however... |

Those who write "In France, this van is known as "Nez de Cochon", "Pig Nose"." which was actually the nickname given to the Peugeot D3A and siblings… |

But Citroënet says it… or say "Then in 1958 the H was superceded by the HY with a maximum payload of 1 500kg." Does this "superceded" mean that the HY was better and bigger than the H (letting the H still being built) or that the production of HY replaced that of the H? |
