If plate is KMP = 1939. Looks Austin??

I checked other Austins from the late 1930s, and they have a similar front.
If you look closeley, you see a divided rear window, just like on this Austin:

Yes Austin (grille and Winged-wheel Badge visible) radiator surround is of the new 1939 type.

While the registration may read 'KMP' this model is 1938 at the latest. c.1935 Standard '9' or '10' behind the Austin.

Not relevant. Previous model range.

Bottom-hinged wipers seem 1937+ Austin feature. Gap above bumper to wing looks 12/4 Ascot or 14/6 Goodwood??

Try EMP, and there is no “Austin Six” badge on the grille.

EMP = Sept 36 to Jan 37. So 12/4 Ascot??

It seems to be the optimal choice.
