GMC HM/JH or Chevrolet Series 70, 80, or 90. In other words the contemporary GM heavy-duty trucks at the time. |

1966+ "Conventional 92" BBC" medium- and heavy-tonnage HM-Series indeed. GMC and Chevrolet used the same HM name, which was in fact only used for the medium-tonnage gasoline trucks with a single rear axle. Depending on the model year, this cab could be the one of a Chevrolet 70000 / 80000 / 70 / 80 or of a GMC 4500 / 5500 / 6500 / 7500 / 8500 / 9500. The Chevrolet 90 models and their specific grille appeared only in 1971, so this truck is unlikely one of these vehicles. @Ddey65: As a reminder, the JH-Series was nothing else than one the tandem rear axle versions of the HM-Series, and the Chevrolet models were 70000 and 80000 models at first (they became 70 and 80 only from 1967 onwards). -- Last edit: 2015-05-07 05:32:05 |
