If a GMC hood side emblem, then it's a model from the 1947-55 New Design truck line. As Chevrolet (the 1954-55 grille had also such a large frame), it would be an Advance-Design truck. The one-piece windshield means a 1954-55 model year in both cases. The mirror is the one of a light-duty (GMC 250) / medium-duty (Chevrolet 3800) 1-ton model or the one of a medium-duty (GMC 300 to 400) / heavy-duty (GMC 450 & 470 // Chevrolet 4100 to 6400) 1½-ton+ truck.
