As closed model, it can't be older than 1968, which is confirmed by the 1968+ side markers: a 1968-70 Jeep DJ-5A Dispatcher or a 1971-84 AM General DJ-5x Dispatcher (with x = B to M, depending on the year and the engine). A view of the grille could help to tell one make over the other: Jeep models have a 7-hole grille, the AM General versions have a 5-hole one. 1968 and Jeep used here as default identification. -- Last edit: 2015-12-19 03:44:32 |

Jeep DJ started having these sidemarkers started 1971 model year as mentioned elsewhere on this site. |

Please remember that it appears to be just a confusion you make between the side markers arrival (1968) and the make change (1971), rjluna2...
