The US A4 came very late in the 2005 MY: Link to "www.copart.com" -- Last edit: 2020-09-19 23:59:49 |

2005.5 actually, but most of the sites still list it as the 2006 MY |

The VIN clearly says WAUDG68E55A****** which indicates a 2005 MY. It's like with the 2001 Passat, 2006 Golf and 1999 Jetta where the first half was the old generation and the second half the new generation. And this one was even built as early as December 2004: /vehicle_441028-Audi-A4-Typ-8E-2005.html -- Last edit: 2020-09-20 13:41:32 |

Someone's changed it back to 2006 - it's the custom Packard all over again.... |

VIN says 2005. Stop changing it! |

Didn't it come up before that .5 model years were always rounded up to the next year on the site? -- Last edit: 2020-09-20 21:28:54 |

But if these were built in late 2004 they should really be 2005s. Introducing 2006 MYs in late 2004 is something only the Americans do. And the VIN literally says 2005. -- Last edit: 2020-09-20 21:28:28 |

The VIN clearly states 2005. I can see if we don’t know the VIN then round up. It should be round up if we don’t have the VIN. @gamer my hands are tied. I disagree with *rounding up* when we have documented information is inaccurate... |

The VIN in Gamer's link isn't for this car, it's just proof of 2005 VIN facelift A4s existing? I agree, just asking a question about something I can vaguely remember being said. -- Last edit: 2020-09-20 21:32:14 |
