You bet. If my memory's correct, they started making those in 1983.

It's gotta be newer than that since it has the fuel injection badge below the headlight. I'm thinking closer to a 1986

That's plausible. Is this for the 4.3 litre engine? Because I had the same one in my old 1985 Chevrolet Caprice.

It could be since the 1983-1990 S-10 Blazers all look alike but the 4.3 V6 didn't come out until 1988... it's a possibility though. Too bad the pic is kinda fuzzy in that area.

This Blazer has a specialty Virginia license plate featuring the state bird (the cardinal), as opposed to the plain white background that was standard at the time.

This has the 2.8L badge. The 4.3L badge is the same design but is a larger badge. Cieraguy is correct that the 4.3L wasn't added to the option list until the '88 model year. It was a late addition to the '88 model year and I had the pleasure of owning a '88 S10 Blazer that had the 4.3L. It had plenty of power. I miss it.

Two things to note, although you can't see it here, the front license plate has a registration sticker that expired in 1997.

This is a goof, as the film takes place in 1999, meaning that the stickers were two years expired, and registration stickers don't go on front plates, they go on the rear.

My bad, I never knew that. Most states require them only on the rear, If I recall correctly.

New, clearer picture shows it is a 4.3 badge.
