Seat Panda 34 (One of the Spanish versions, the other was the Panda 45...) |

If it's a Seat Panda, the model origin should be Spanish |

Wasn't the Seat version of the Panda called Marbella? |

No, the Seat Panda was like Fiat Panda, and the Seat Marbella was a facelift of the Seat Panda, and I think this one is a Panda (Seat or Fiat, I don't know but if it's a Seat the model origin should be Spanish) |

IMDB doesn't say the locations of the movie but looking at the plates of the Corolla, the green 127 and others seen as thumbnails I would go for Seat Panda. BTW the movie seems was filmed in Canary Islands |

For example in Maspalomas: /vehicle_77126-Suzuki-LJ80-1978.html This scene rather not: /vehicle_77112-AEC-Routemaster.html -- Last edit: 2010-03-03 18:17:21 |

I suppose that the desert scenes were filmed in Egypt, since an Egyptian APC appears: /vehicle_77119-Walid-APC-1960.html |

But the Suzuki has a "GC"-registration. Not identifyable on the main pic, but on the thumbnail, where the back is visible. |

But what would a Walid and a Praga be doing in Spain? |

O.k., that scenes were shot in Africa. The dunes of Maspalomas aren't that wide as the background there. As I wrote above, it's not all from the Canaries. Except the AEC Routemaster, the Ford Cortina, the Simca 1100, the Ford Corsair and the Hillman Hunter weren't filmed in GC either. At least I guess so, due the background. Maybe you've seen the old house there sometimes before... |
