He has no idea what he is talking about judging by his postings that are 90% incorrect.. I wonder if he can be banned from the site.. Anyway in today's term a landau roof is almost the opposite of the canopy, as the vinyl covers the rear quarter or third of the roof, including the C pillars, coming as far forward as the trailing edge of either the rear or front side window. Yes but what I referring to is that the LTD Landau was a separate model distinguished by unique body side moldings and concealable headlights among other things. And while it came standard with a vinyl roof; a half vinyl roof was only available on two door models, and was nothing that could not also be option in the lower models. 75/76 Custom 500s were fleet only vehicles so I suppose they could have come with a vinyl roof as they were all special order anyway, but why would anybody do that? |
