it's a 1960s Caterpillar D8H. |

i think its earlier than that. The military had a fleet of D7's like this in WWII. I believe this one is of 40's vintage by the cable set up. In the 50's the cable winches were mounted to the front of the machine and some even had hydraulics by the mid 50's |
