Sorry to say that my gut instinct tells me it is due to the grille design. I may be wrong. BTW I see the inscription at the lower right corner of the grille could indicates Malibu Classic? |

76 and 77's both had the inscription on L/R grille 76's had an-"x" pattern, while 77's had vertical fins |
