Is it at all possible to see whether this is a 1980-86 Bedford or an 1988-92 AWD? |

Only the year of registration or the front grille with badge (for AWD) would determine it I think. |

It is too hazy to see reg. number even on dvd .It is a 4 wheeler with a very long wheelbase , see it here on You Tube at around 35mins https://www.youtube.com/watch?v=EVBxxHA--jM -- Last edit: 2014-12-16 09:34:25 |

From YouTube it has black turn-signal housings, to match the black plastic grilles, plus the black bumpers as normal for Bedfords. Turn-signal housings normally body colour, with body coloured front steel panel, and grey bumpers for AWD. Bedford TL looks more likely. |

I also think Bedford . AWD sold very few trucks , a dated range and uncertain future put people off. -- Last edit: 2014-12-17 09:25:16 |

The Bedford TL was introduced mid-1980 but did not replace the TK range. It was not until 1984 that the longest wheelbase versions (165 inchs) and heavier TLs were introduced so the TK died about the same time. This must be 1984 or later by the long wheelbase. edit: 1985-1988 flush mounted sidelights-turn signals. -- Last edit: 2014-12-17 15:53:54 |
