I think it's a Simca advertisement rather than a Simca bus. |

"Simca" is here to say that the commuters are fetched and working at the big Simca factory of Poissy. (Must be a Lelouch movie, no? The title is of his 'style', and he used this factory for Une fille et des fuils.) The busses are Chausson or Saviem-Chausson (I'd bet on Chausson). |

Yes, filmed in Poissy |

What link it was? In this movie Simca was also mentioned. IIRC correctly there was competition where Simca was to win and slogan "Merci Simca!". |

I'm no specialist of Lelouch's life and works (thanks God!). All I know, I know it because reading on behalf of IMCDb, for the only Lelouch's film I ever intended to upload here, Une fille et des fusils. It was hard to make the movie, and harder to have it released. So, I can only speculate that Lelouch kept fond memories of his relations with Simca PR who allowed him to film in the factory (it's not the least interesting moment of the film, besides, and probably the most, with the deaf-dumb ballroom), and then kept relations with them, maybe out of gratitude, why not? Pure speculation, once again. -- Last edit: 2016-12-09 02:33:02 |
