2006-12-17 14:20 | Chevrolet Impala 4-door hardtop (1965 if I remember right). |

2006-12-17 15:28 | Tiens, une Chevrolet Caprice de 1965. Pas clair ce truc, les Impala sont une version des Caprice à moins que ce soit les Caprice qui sont des version de l'Impala. Jamais rien compris à leur merdier... |
2006-12-17 18:03 | I agree Power600, 1965 Chevrolet Caprice, The Impala had a different emblem on the front fender, lower on the panel. |
2007-08-12 22:20 | This car has Caprice option trim level. This came one model year before the Caprice became its own series. |
2007-08-12 22:29 | Impala Caprice then? |
2007-08-12 22:50 | Impala inscription is nowhere found on the car when they have the Caprice option trim. I am not sure if we can categorize as Impala Caprice in the list. I think it has to do with the model number that Chevrolet provided as Impala class. We can leave it as Caprice as part of the category. I have to look it up on the book. |
2007-08-13 03:39 | From, Standard Catalog of American Cars, 3rd edition: in 1965 the 4 door Impala, "caprice custom sedan option" included a heavier frame, suspension changes, black accented front grill and rear trim panel with Caprice nameplate, slender body sill moldings, a fleur-de-lis roof quarter emplem, color keyed body side stripes, full wheelcovers and Caprice Hood emblem. Basically, it is an Impala with a special trim option, however, the nameplate was Caprice and not Impala. I don't know what to do with it. -- Last edit: 2007-08-13 03:40:56 |
2007-11-12 23:25 | Offically, it is listed as model 16439 with $200 option package. Even with the vinyl top, $75 added to the package. I got it from George H. Dammann, 75 years of Chevrolet. Though, on this picture, it doesn't have the original wheel fitted in. |
