Welcome to another episode of IMCDb's funfair of coachbuilding rarities, hosted again by yours truly! This is one of three Checker ambulances that were built in 1966 by coachbuilder De Georgi from Switzerland for a hospital in Zurich. It appears like we have the exclusive broadcasting rights for the rear view of these conversions. Hello Checker fans worldwide - you saw it first on our site! Update: It's Carrosserie De Giorgi of Bern, Switzerland, and this model was called the "Einheits-Ambulanz". -- Last edit: 2019-08-29 21:33:48 |
