69Roadrunner426 ◊ 2007-05-11 16:25	Um, no. Don't know where you'd get that idea because the first one featured a black 1970 Dodge Charger R/T 440 and this is a 1970 Dodge Challenger R/T 426. They're completely 2 different cars.

ironpony42 ◊ 2007-06-19 03:35	One of the several cars used for this film was given to the Spike TV show MuscleCar, and is being restored. It was one of the 318 stunt cars not crashed. And yes, anyone who's willing to wreck an E-body mopar for a crap movie should be punched multiple places. Even Vanishing Point used a CAMARO to crash into the bulldozers at the end - look close, it's a '67 Camaro quarter panel, and Chev rally rim in the shot.

Of course, as was said before, none of the cars in the film are real Hemi cars, although they are apparently modeled after one of the real 1970 Hemi Challengers, which is today owned by Jay Leno.
