that isn't a 1992 Grand am,My mom used to own a 1996 Grand am and even though it was a different color and had rims unlike this one, it had the same front end and alot if other similar thigs. it's a 1996 grand am. |

Actually, it is a '92 (or only as new as '95). In '96, the Grand Am was midly restyled, and the front end got softer, less pointy. |

Made before all GM's had and continue to have those stupid non-override automatic headlights |

Erm, don't you mean daytime running lights? Those aren't the same as automatic headlights (believe me, DRLs aren't as bright as proper headlights), and they're not stupid, just because your average person is a complete moron. I'm sure they seem intelligent enough, but honestly, without scrutiny to keep said average person up to a certain standard, they devolve into a drooling mouthbreather who needs every automatic gimmick to help keep themselves, and others on the road alive. So unless you live in an area of North America that never, ever gets incliment weather (which basically means Nevada and New Mexico), they're kinda good to have. |

The '07 Chevy Express I drive for work has a DRL overide switch. |

AFAIK jettalover only trucks have that feature (I have only seen it in Express/Savana, Astro/Safari and Silverado/Sierra) While we are on this subject, I just picked up a 2001 Pontiac Grand Am SE1 for real cheap to flip it and it has Automatic Headlights (not DRLs) The headlights are on if the ignition is on no matter what, there is no override switch or anything. It is weird because there is no way to cut the headlights off at all without also cutting the car off. |

The '07 Chevy Express also has another odd lighting feature. A dome lamp overide button. I mean weird for an American car. Japenese cars have always had these. My Jetta had one too. |

The Express has the dome override so the rear doors can be opened and the van loaded without the cargo lights on. Maybe not the most used option on Passenger models, but I use it quite a lot while loading material in the back of my 2003 G-3500. |
