The rear end is low. Is it loaded or has the hydropneumatic compensating spring introduced sept 1965 gone bad? Because of this and the 14" wheels i suggest 1966 250 SE. |

I rather believe this is a 1968+ 280 SE because of the grill with four lines between each chrome strip, instead of seven (as of the 250 SE). I also believe the black inside rear view mirror indicates a 1968+ car as all other 1966-67 W 111/W 112 -series coupé's I've seen has chromed ones while the 1966-67 W 108/W 109 -series have black ones.
