There's an awesome write-up on one of the Firebirds used for this scene in the June 2012 issue of Popular Hot Rodding. The guy that owns it now won it in a charity auction on EBay. After filming was completed, Andy Wachowski stashed one of the Firebirds away for himself. He auctioned it off in the summer of 2009. |
