Possibly a reference to Smokey and The Bandit? They got the Ford Bronco from the original Gone in 60 Seconds, so this is fully possible. |

Maybe, but I am not sure that the Bronco is a reference to Gone in 60 sec, it is a car which existed before: http://en.wikipedia.org/wiki/Parnelli_Jones |

The Bronco used in this movie was from the original Gone in 60 Seconds, regardless of where it came from. I just said that this Pontiac could be a reference to SATB, just like the Bronco is a reference to GI60Secs. |

They look different: /vehicle_677966-Ford-Bronco.html /vehicle_5774-Ford-Bronco-1971.html To me they are just both references to Parnelli Jones' car |

I never said they were the same cars. My point was that the Bronco used in this movie was a nod to the Bronco used in Gone in 60 Seconds. Nevermind, this is going too off-topic. |

Trans Am BAN-1 by Year One. It's a limited-run production, pro-touring style Trans Am made from modified 1977-1978 cars. |

Is it a replica? |

No, YearOne refurbishes and modifies them, and sells them. And YearOne was a sponsor for 2 Fast 2 Furious, on the Challenger And the Yenko Camaro. Could be another reference? |

The 2fast 2furious challenger and camaro are both replicas. |
