C'est une des berlines de style "colonnade" de la GM dans les années 70. Buick Century, Oldsmobile Cutlass, etc. |

I would say from the shape of the door and fender/hood it's a 1973 or 1974 Buick Regal. |

You are simply WRONG... Look at the wheels and fender shape of this one...a 1974 Buick Regal. Looks like the same car to me! In the future back up your claim with actual photographic evidence instead of just deleting my post.. ![]() -- Last edit: 2006-12-06 00:59:38 |

But this is a 4 door, not just 2. There was any Regal with 4 doors? |

The beige car behind the man is a 2 door Buick Regal coupe. During this era (mid 70's), the Century was the name of the 4 door version. : http://classiccars.zonebg.com/Gifs/AmCars/buick_century_1974-1977_01.jpg |

Well, maybe I was wrong in my first post. SORRY. I thought that on 1978, you couldn't find a 1974 Regal on a store who seemed to sale brand new cars. But that car has 4 doors:![]() ![]() ![]() -- Last edit: 2006-12-08 23:23:19 |

In 1973, the Regal was available only as a coupe and the Century was available as a coupe, sedan and wagon in many trim levels. From 1974 to 1977, the Regal was available in coupe and sedan body styles. This car is clearly from 1976 or 1977 because of the quad rectangular headlights (visible behind the 1977 LeSabre) and it's a sedan (GM called these "Colonnade sedan") I can't tell if it's a Century or a Regal with these pictures. The Century and Regal coupe and sedans shared their bodies in 1973-75 but in 1976-77, the sedan remained on the old body (with quad rectangular headlamps, mounted one above the other) and the Century and Regal coupes had new exterior body panels, new grilles, bumpers and taillights. The 76-77 coupes also had quad headlamps but they were mounted side by side. |
