I think it's a 142, probably S with 67-8 F plate. That grille with inset lights could be a tuned UK conversion - I think Ruddspeed did one on the 142 S. |

Some Ruddspeed Volvo chat - http://www.volvoforums.org.uk/showthread.php?t=27789 - but probably more about amazon versions. A Dutch 142 GL 2.0 Ruddspeed rally car for sale - Link to "www.marktplaats.nl" . Ruudspeed did lots of different projects - other Volvos, RHD UK Mustang conversions in mid-60s and other US stuff, some late 60s Alfa luxury versions of Giulia Coupe etc. |

I don't know whether this is a Ruddspeed or not, but I do know that Volvo did use to offer that kind of grill as optional extra at the time. For a while I had a 1969 Volvo 142 B20 and tried forever to find a grill, but failed. I have an optional extra brouchure at home. That is for cars sold in Sweden, whether or not all equipment were up for sale on the British isles, I haven't a clue. |
