The common point is that the coachwork came from a firm called Mulliner, but there were several of those. Things then start to fall apart when you look at the Renown's mechanical specification, straight out of the Standard Vanguard's parts list. The 2088cc wet liner engine squeezed out all of 68 bhp compared against the Mk VI Bentley with 4257cc producing about 130 bhp plus an extra two cylinders in the engine and another ratio in the gearbox to help. -- Last edit: 2014-07-02 23:35:45 |

Can't be definite, but this looks like a wide rear window, so 52+ Renown "Mk2". |
