I believe this is a Henschel http://www.lkw-oldtimer.de/pages/f-i-e/henschel/henschel6-800.html . I'm not entirely sure, but I believe this model was introduced in 1961. Not unlikely a HS model. Henschel to pretend heavy class to be the first product of this liason in 1961 for promotional marketing reasons. 1. version came with clean HENSCHEL lettering 2. version with small aditionally script Renault Saviem only symbolic 3. version HENSCHEL only again this cabin was used exclusively by Henschel, as far as i know, the real cooperation was in the 7,5 tons range i think  http://www.baumaschinenbilder.de/forum/thread.php?postid=163212 so even if it should have Renault Saviem script underneath cooler cover it is made in Kassel entirely. really hard to find one, i had a prospect of 1961 with Renault Saviem logos -- Last edit: 2014-06-28 22:33:06 |
