Any closer shots of the grill, the door mirror, the hubcaps or the interior? |

No, those are too blurry to take. But if I see the head and the end, it should be W108. |

I agree on the W108, no doubt. I meant a shot to identify a more precise year. 1968 was an important year in Mercedes history, and meant loads of changes. The 250 S and 250 SE were replaced with 280 S and 280 SE, but also introduced a more sturdy door mirror which became compulsory. One of the earlier versions was sometimes referred to as 'swan neck'. The grill changed slightly with fewer squares (four instead of seven) between each chrome strip. The hub caps changed from the earlier with a small hub cap surrounded by a chromed wheel embellisher to the later disc shaped ones. The steering wheel horn ring got a slightly different shape. I believe the 250 S had only one exhaust pipe while the 280 S had two. The above car might be a 280 S, but is very difficult to say if there's nothing obvious to look at. |

Just say "Mercedes-Benz [W108]". |

we can say 1968+ 280 S, because the badge says that and the hubcaps are looking like the 1968+ version. |
