Licence plate indicates 1992, but it may be reimmatriculated (or it is just a fake plate)

I recall those Hilux with stake-load bed are a common sight in Australia(but if bears an Irish 1992=92 plate that could be fake and maybe scene was played in Australia--note position of steering wheel)

It's a fake plate.

Speaking of which, could the steering wheel be a dummy one? There's a suspicious amount of rubbish on the other side of the dashboard, easily enough to hide a steering wheel.

Now that you mention it, the steering wheel looks really fake, and it looks like there is another steering wheel under that newspaper.

Since this was in all probability filmed in a Hollywood studio, it's going to be a Toyota Truck, not a Hilux.
