Custom Cadillac "Paris" on Eldorado base, circa 1979-80.

Check out this image. Apparently, ASC made it through 1982 (at least).

Two corrections: It wasn´t ASC (American Sunroof Corp.), but ACC (American Custom Coachworks), who made up this slightly exaggerated conversion. ACC called their convertibles on Lincoln or Cadillac de Ville chassis "Paris", but these FWD Eldorados were called "Eldorado Glamour Coupe".

So please make it a 1979 Cadillac Eldorado Glamour Coupe by American Custom Coachworks.

the rims seen on the Caddy r the discontinued Cragar Star Wires (known as 83s in the H-town SLAB world) - the Star Wires have been reintroduced by Texan Wire Wheels since 2006 in response to the H-town SLAB culture

Update 2019: In the meantime, I met one of these beauties (yeah, I know I'm the only one who likes these...) and learned that "Paris" was indeed part of the name and ACC heavily badged them as such, just in case we forget.

That's not the case (see what I did there...). If you are referring to the slightly elongated hood (sorry: "bonnet") - I tell you what is underneath that extra bit: SPACE!!! :D

I always wondered what happened to them when the royalties ran out, but being reduced to living under the bonnet of a shit Cadillac is tragic.

Could be worse, considering that they are now mostly known in Russia. And we don't even know yet what fate Daft Punk will experience one day.
