A lot of US cars were shipped to Military bases (Clark, Subic etc). They were eventually resold locally instead of shipped back. |

Yep, this is definitely a US Import, even many pre-1991 Hondas found their way in the Philippines that were not sold there officially through the US Import via Clark/Subic bases. They probably realize what a pain it is to have a car transported overseas and figure it is easier (and cheaper) to sell the car and buy a new one when they get home. |
