Sorry for the slow response, I have been away. The body is almost certainly coach built to order of the first owner, and therefore outside of the maker's control. I did not have time to look round for the builder, but Maybach sometimes used Spohn, or maybe Erdmann & Rossi, or perhaps this may be French, it seems to have their sort of style. It was quite usual for makers of this class of car to supply chassis only, with recommendations about maximum weight permitted if you wanted the guarantee to be honoured.
