2006-12-01 09:16 | Looking at the length of the chrome trim on the front wing, and at the design of the front wing, it's rather a DeSoto Club Coupe. Year is 1946, 47 or 48. 2006-12-01 16:52 | Sorry pilou, but I don't agree. On Dodges, the chrome trim on the front wings were shorter. It ends above the wheel, like on Chryslers and Plymouths. Only DeSotos had this trim going from the front light to the door, like on this one. Beside, on a Dodges, it will be slightly higher on the wing, when you can see here that it's very near the wheel. DeSoto, for sure. 2006-12-08 15:01 | Yes ,I rechecked on enlarged picture and you are right .DeSoto S-11 Club Coupe 1946-8 , with those plain hubcaps I would say a DeLuxe rather than a Custom. |
