I have a good bit of information about this car, and I would like to know if it still exists. It was an MC (C-type heads) model that always ran hot in the hot summers of El Paso, TX and Las Cruces, NM. The car first came to the El Paso area to John Bull Motors. Tony Bull, owner of the dealership leased it to the movie company for use during the filming east of El Paso. (The local story was that the studio management leased it for James Dean, because they would not let him bring his Porsche to the set.)

I knew the first two owners (after John Bull Motors). I worked with them at White Sands Missile Range, and put a number of miles on the car myself. I have a couple of rather fuzzy pictures of it in 1957 (a couple of years after the movie).

I will be happy to respond to any questions regarding the car, or information as to whether or not it still exists.
