I don't know about a Plymouth, the black car behind the Mercury appears to be a 1946-48 Ford. |

Am I missing something? |

My view here is that this is a Plymouth P-15 , 1946-48, because the upper line of the rear three quarter window is lower than the upper line of the central rear window. On 1946-1948 Ford Fordor Sedans upper lines of rear three quarter windows were as high as the central rear window. |

Maybe I need a better monitor...to me the windows look out of proportion/too tall compared to a Plymouth, and the rear quarter window looks level to the window on the door. Also, didn't the Plymouth have a forward slanted C-pillar? |

Oops...we're going for that black sedan behind the Mercury....I think the Mercury has its own page already |

Well that was clear as mud, was it a secret? Apparently now I owe an apology to Pilou. Sorry Pilou, I should have known better than to second guess you. ![]() |

Frankly, I agree with fintail. The windows seem to me too large for a Plymouth. Beside, the last pillar is too straight for a Chrysler Corp. cars of these years. |

So what is the car on the left, which is the one to be identified ? |

The car on the left is a 1949 Mercury. And just to annoy everybody, I think the black car is a Hudson. -- Last edit: 2006-11-29 14:54:14 |

To tell you the truth, I was wondering too of it was not a 1946-47 Hudson… Oh, and the car on the right is a 1949 Lincoln Cosmopolitan ![]() |
