There were two versions of the 300 SE, that is 300 SE [W 112.014] with the vent badge, but also the 300 SE lang [W 112.015] with a slightly longer rear door but without the vent badge http://wiki.mercedes-benz-classic.com/index.php/Datei:300SEL.jpg . This car is rather starnge, as it has some of the chrome from the W 112 (the waist strip and the strip rearwards from the rear arch) but not the rest, like the chrome below the doors. Perhaps most likely a "blinged" W 111.
