Chevrolet from the 1947-1955 Advance-Design series for sure. A "Chassis and cab". 3600 if 125" wheelbase, or 3800 if 137" wheelbase, which is hard to decide between with that view. But when comparing the two of them, I'll say a 3800. The weird thing: it has 1954/55 grille and hood emblem, but a 1947-1953 2 parts windshield. This one should be in one single piece... ![]() ![]() 1947-53 "nose" // 1954/55-1st serie face (click...) Not a better view of the door than this one? ![]() (from the 1957 Chevrolet Two-Ten Sport Sedan page) Seeing the door handles and/or the door window could help to better identify the model year... To me: => Chevrolet 3800 [Advance-Design] But I can't say more than 1947 for the model year, because of the windshield. -- Last edit: 2014-04-09 05:10:18 |

![]() Unfortunately, this is the only further view available. I tried to enlarge it a little to zoom the door handle, hope it can be useful, but the resolution is quite poor... ![]() |

Thanks for the try. It's hard to say. I can't see the details of the door handle, so let's forget it. We'll say the gas tank cap is not visible just behind the passenger door due to the poor resolution (otherwise, it would reject the model year to 1947-48)... I see a (blurry) vertical line in the door window: is it the mirror (in blurry mode), or is it a vent window like the following one? ![]() Click... If so, my suggestion is that this truck is a 1951+ Chevrolet 3800 [Advance-Design](1). ___________ (1): If they didn't trick the doors too. And I still wonder how they manage to put the 1954/55 grille on that cab... Though you can do a lot with a can opener and a good soldering iron ![]() -- Last edit: 2014-04-10 02:21:12 |

Main screenshot made at 01:18:53. Part of the 1947-55 Chevrolet Advance-Design trucks line. If a 1-ton 3800 truck, and as Chassis-Cab model, it has then a 3803 code in Chevrolet literature. ⇒ 1951 Chevrolet Advance-Design 3800 [3803]? |
